As a Specialist UI Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality user interfaces for our applications. You will leverage your extensive experience in Angular and related technologies to create intuitive and responsive interfaces. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of UI components with backend services.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain user interfaces using Angular (2+) and Angular Material.
- Utilise Bootstrap for responsive design and Node.js for server-side functionality.
- Manage code repositories and projects using NX (mono repo).
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to implement user-friendly designs.
- Work closely with other stakeholders to integrate UI with microservices.
- Implement and maintain micro frontends to ensure modularity and scalability.
- Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI-related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Your skills and experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in UI development.
- BSc Computer Science or other IT-related degree/diploma.
- Strong proficiency in Angular (2+), Angular Material, and Bootstrap.
- Experience with Node.js and NX (mono repo).
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with micro frontends.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- UX design experience.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like TeamCity.
- Proficiency in version control systems such as BitBucket.
- Familiarity with build tools like Maven and SpringBoot.
- Understanding of Git-flow methodology.
- Knowledge of JPA and Docker.
- Strong SQL skills, including experience with MySQL, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
